MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT
GENERAL
Automatic gate and barrier systems are generally
exposed to all weather conditions and varying levels of use and
abuse. As with all moving equipment a maintenance program will ensure
the longest possible life of the equipment. All automation systems
are highly stressed in normal use and are expensive to install.
For systems using hydraulics the simplest analogy is to compare
it with a car braking system. Both use fluids that are hydroscopic
(absorb moisture), require bleeding and 'O' ring changes to maintain
optimum performance and to extend the life of the internal components.
Our company provides full servicing facilities which can include
on-site dismantling for rectification and fault finding, together
with off-site service facilities where required for hydraulic pressure
testing. Preventative maintenance provides the benefits of:
- Continued trouble
free operation and peace of mind
- Extended life of
the equipment
- Continual security
and convenience
Three types of service contract are available:
1) PLANNED MAINTENANCE
To include visual inspection, full functional
testing and performance of routine maintenance to include routine
service of the equipment as itemised in the schedule applicable
to the installation. Parts deemed defective that require replacement
will be charged at manufacturer's current list price. Breakdown
call-outs are excluded. Prices vary according to equipment and anticipated
usage.
2) FULL SERVICE
To include visual inspection, full functional
testing and performance of routine maintenance; to include routine
service of the equipment as itemised in the schedule applicable
to the installation. All parts deemed defective to be replaced at
no extra cost between service intervals. Prices vary according to
equipment and anticipated usage.
3) EXTENDED SERVICE
To include all items as listed above for full
service plus site attendance next working day following our office
being notified within business hours (before 2pm).
As an AAC maintained site, any service
requests for site attendance take priority over non-maintained sites.
Likewise exchange equipment is given first priority to maintained
sites.
